I am a very unique photographer. I base the photos I take off of the mood I am in that day; from being sad by taking cloudy dark photos are bright sunny photos when I am happy. This classed has taught me many skills for each type of photo. Some skills that I learned that are my favorite are forced perspective and emphasis. My favorite projects that I did were the desaturated photo and forced perspective. I have grown as a photographer by learning more skills on the DSLR.
My favorite photo I have taken this semester is of my fancy dress shoes on the grain of hardwood. I like the feeling of classiness and professionalism in this photo. Three principles of design that are strong in this photo are emphasis of the shoes in the middle of the frame with a texture feel, unity with the grains of the shoes with the wood in the background, and pattern with the wood creating lines and shape.

My goals at the beginning of this semester was to just get more comfortable with the DSLR and photoshop. I believe I have done these. I can stand on my own two feet for taking photos with a DSLR and then editing them in photoshop. Some surprises that I saw with my art was that a lot of the pictures are similar. This surprise is also a disappointment because I would have liked to look back and see how I took different types of photos and because a more broad photographer. So, throughout this class my style has stayed the same.
